Marino College of Further Education

Project Details

Marino College of Further Education is a long established provider of post leaving certificate courses in City of Dublin ETB. In an increasingly competitive market, they needed new marketing initiatives to continue attract students in sufficient numbers. Their existing website was outdated, non-responsive and featured imagery that was uninspiring and unreflective of the the current student population. Scapegoat Design were chosen to update all branding, re-design the website and apply the new look to an extensive marketing campaign.

Project Outcome

After meeting with the client and undertaking a brand audit we felt that it was critically important to create a new image bank of suitable photography for Marino CFE. With that in mind we commissioned photographer Seamus Travers to shoot inside and outside the college for two full days. Scapegoat Design directed the entire shoot which was no small feat logistically as it involved numerous students, teachers and locations both inside and out.

The new suite of imagery was a massive upgrade and when applied to the new branding, brought a whole new sense of vitality and energy to the Marino CFE marketing programme. The marketing campaign was extensive featuring a completely new website with streamlined application process, press advertising, exterior signage, bus and DART posters as well as bus back advertising and display graphics. To date the feedback has been excellent and student numbers have significantly increased from previous years.
